What can change the final price
On sea charters, an extra charge may apply if the price of fuel goes over €1.95 per liter, and prices may vary with the travel distance between the marina and the fishing spot. Pricing is flexible, based on the trip's duration and the number of days booked.
Reservations and payment
Trips are arranged by WhatsApp or email and confirmed with a deposit of 50% of the program price. For half- and full-day trips the balance is paid on the day; for programs of two days or more, 30 days before the start. Bookings made within 30 days of the date are paid in full. Sea charters are priced per boat and by season; the boat, departure marina, and target fishing are agreed at booking.
Cancellations and refunds
Conditions are assessed for every departure, and Azores Fishing may move or cancel a date for adverse weather or sea conditions. If Azores Fishing cancels for weather or technical reasons, the payment is refunded in full. Cancellations by the guest more than 30 days before the date receive 50% of the deposit; later cancellations are not refunded.
During the trip
Guests follow the instructions of the skipper, guide, and crew at all times. Sea fishing is conducted under IGFA rules; billfish are tagged and released unless they are potential records, and the catch is not sold. On the lagoons, the regional fishing regulations in force on the day apply.
